MEET OUR PRINCIPAL
Missy Wesolowski has over a decade of political, advocacy and lobbying experience. She has worked on Democratic Campaigns from 2007 to 2011. From 2009 to 2012, she served as principal legislative staffer for such officials as now Senator Dave Marsden, former Delegate Jim Scott, and current Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn.
After her time in the Virginia General Assembly, Missy spent more than six years working for a progressive advocacy organization in Florida where she formed a state PAC and specialized in connecting legislative strategies to year-round advocacy work in target districts. Missy returned to Virginia in 2018 to continue working in the advocacy field, and after the 2019 elections, started her own consulting practice, Dogtowne Consulting, LLC.
Because of her superior energy, relationships of trust with senior policy makers and skills honed with more than a decade working in or lobbying state governments, Missy quickly built a reputation for accomplishing her client’s goals.
Missy lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband, an adorable dog and a feisty cat.
